Great Ocean Paddle is a fast paced 20km downwind race along the iconic Victorian Surf Coast. Or you could try our family friendly Great Ocean Splash 2.5km or 5km.

All paddlecraft welcome

Grab your a ski, SUP, outrigger or paddle board and join us on the 20km downwind Great Ocean Road paddle or the Great Ocean Splash. Two of Victoria's most premier ocean paddling events. You will traverse the iconic surf breaks of Bells Breach, Winkipop, Torquay and experience one of the world's most spectacular downwind paddle race.

What mandatory gear must I carry during the race?

Each competitor must present the following mandatory gear at check-in and carry this gear during the race:

- Boat leash (which must be attached to you and your craft during the race)
- Flare (sold out)
- Like jacket
- Mobile phone in a waterproof case
- Hi-vis clothing
- Hi-vis hat
- Tracker

We highly recommend you carry a PLB (Personal Locator Beacon) and enough food and water for the length of the race and wear sunscreen and appropriate clothing.

How do I get to the start line after registration?
If you would like bus and craft transport you can book this online when you enter the event for $30. Please book online here: www.eventplus.net/TNG25

How do I get my craft to the start line?
If you would like assistance transporting your craft from registration to the start line of the we can provide transportation $20. You can do this when you enter the event. Please book here www.eventplus.net/TNG25
